It seems like lately, Lolitas are less and less fond of this style. Some are even wishing that brands like Angelic Pretty would release more toned down dresses. Personally, I adore OTT Sweet, it's definitely the style I'm going for, but I don't think it's as popular as it used to be. To me, OTT Sweet is a very bold style that takes guts to wear, and besides that it's extremely cute.
What's your opinion, do you think it's popularity is decreasing? Do you think we'll see an end to OTT Sweet, and would you miss it if it slipped into non-existence?
I think the same... for me that too bad because i only wear ott some times and i love see pictures to inspire me and learn more. For me it exist a difference in japan because i usually saw pictures of ott sweet lolitas from this country and more classic and casual style in western!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've seen fewer OTT Sweet pictures lately and more of the toned down styles, I think it's sad. :/ I like classic and casual of course, but OTT Sweet is my favorite style.
DeleteI can't imagine it will ever completely end, even if popularity decreases. In a way its sad that its going that way, but hey, just means there are less people who look like you, which isn't a bad thing.:3
ReplyDeleteI love OTT sweet lolita, its something I'd like to try at some point, although wearing that much colour all at once would take some getting used to for me, most of my outfits have at least a LITTLE bit of black.>w<
You're probably right, at least, I sure HOPE it won't end completely!
DeleteFunny, wearing black is something I would have to get used to. lol Though I'd love to have a Kuro and/or Gothic wardrobe along with OTT Sweet one day. :)
